  Notes	The Ledger, Lakeland, Florida, Sunday, March 21, 2004 Peggy Jean Bass DUNN, N.C. -- Mrs. Peggy Jean Bass of Dunn, N.C., who has family in Polk County, died of cancer Saturday (March 20, 2004) at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital. She was 68. Mrs. Bass is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Garcia, Smithfield, N.C.; sons, Frank Bass and Robert F. Bass, both of Lakeland; brothers, Gilbert Parker, Richland, N.C., Haven Parker, Mount Olive, N.C.; sisters, Edna R. Tew and Mary Parker, both of Roseboro, N.C., Dorothy Saale and Margaret Olinde, Baton Rouge, La.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Skinner and Smith Funeral Home, Dunn. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Old Mill Church of God, Dunn.
