Ms. Susan Elaine Bass Taylor, 42, died November 17, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Ms. Taylor was born in Vero Beach and has been a lifetime resident of Vero Beach. She was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, class of 1988. She attended Indian River State College where she earned a Certified Nursing Assistant's Certificate. Ms. Taylor worked as a counselor for Faith Farm Ministries, Boynton Beach, FL for eight years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vero Beach. Survivors include her son, Christian Taylor of Vero Beach; parents, Marion E. "Chubby" Bass and Jean E. Bass of Vero Beach; sister, Dr. Rebecca Bass (husband Judson McCurdy) of Macon, GA; brother, David Bass (wife Vicky Bass) of Vero Beach; nephews, Hunter Wynn, Bryce Bass and Reid Bass all of Vero Beach; niece, Mason Bass of Vero Beach; uncles, Bob Bass of Clewiston, FL and Larry Bass (wife Helen Bass) of Plant City, FL; aunt Elizabeth Graves Bass of Vero Beach and companion, Greg Horn of Vero Beach. Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her niece, Taylor Wynn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry of Indian River County, 2206 16th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or to Faith Farm Ministries, 9538 Hwy 441, Boynton Beach, FL 33472 in memory of Ms. Taylor. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, November 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church Vero Beach. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Vero Beach with Rev. Michael Carter officiating.
