John P. Bassett
John P. Bassett, 69, of 24 Wason avenue, died at his home yesterday. He was born at Cooperville, N. Y., and since living in this city had been employed by the Wason Manufacturing company. Besides his widow, Delia, he leaves two sons, Charles N. and Raymond J. of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. William Danahy of Boston and Mrs. Annle Richard of Worcester. He also leaves 20 grandchildren. He was a member of St. Thomas’ church and the French union of Chicopee. The funeral will be held at Byron’s funeral home Monday morning at 6.15 followed by a high mass of requiem at St. Thomas’s church at 7. Burial will be in St. Rose’s cemetery at Aldenville.
