Mr. Clester Paul Bass, age 87 of Stewart St., Dunn died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington.
Mr. Bass was born on March 23, 1925 in Harnett County to the late Rufus Franklin Bass and Mary Eliza Edge.
Mr. Bass was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church and Woodmen Of The World.
He worked for many years as a security guard for Hardwood Dimensions.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Cromartie Miller and Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Porter and Rev. James McLamb officiating. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens.
Survivors are: his devoted wife of 69 years: Linnie Mae Piner Bass.
Sons: J.D. Bass and wife Lois Faye of Dunn.
Paul Franklin Bass and wife Linda Kay of Dunn
David Earl Bass of Dunn
Daughter: Mary Dolkos of Dunn
Eight grandchildren.
Fifteen great-grandchildren.
One great-great granddaughter.
Eighteen nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday October 22, 2012 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Paul and Linda Bass at 110 May St. in Dunn.
