Tina Marie Bassett of Tulsa, passed away at home unexpectedly on August 23, 2022. She was 51 years old. Tina was born on March 10, 1971 in Miami, OK to Larry and Beverly Bassett. She was predeceased by her father, Larry Bassett, her brother Gene Bassett, and also her paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Jeffrey S. Quick, her mother Beverly Bassett of Tulsa, OK, two brothers, Derek Bassett (Bethany) of Vinita, OK, Jeffery Bassett of Afton, OK. Tina will be missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins.
Tina?s professional career was spent in the hospitality industry, primarily as a front of house trainer for the Outback Steakhouse. Always concerned for the happiness of her patrons, Tina then carried this ideal into her private life. Tina?s love for family and friends was remarkable, often putting their interests and well-being above her own. An avid fisher woman, she was content fishing a small bass pond, a mountain stream, as well as the Florida waters. Tina was also a champion of all four-legged animals. Her love for her dogs was unconditional. Also, it should be noted, that Tina was particularly proud of her Cherokee heritage. She has left many footprints on all of our hearts.
Her Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 3-7 at the AdamsCrest Funeral home with a memorial service from 5-5:30 conducted by Chaplain, Jimmy Foreman.
