Funeral was held this afternoon at the home. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bass; one daughter, Mrs. Velman Tew, of Newton Grove, Route 2; three brothers, B.A., Thomas and Alex; and five sisters, Miss Spicy B. Bass, Mrs. Hardy Lewis, Mrs. S.B. Bass, Mrs. Willie West and Mrs. John Lockamy, all of the Newton Grove section.
