Investment Broker Dies

Walter Richard Bass, 63, 470 Ridgeway and Kanis Road, president of the Walter R Bass Company Investment Brokers, died yesterday in a Little Rock hospital. He was a member of the Arkansas Consistory and Eberts Legion Post. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Walker Bass; five sons, Walter R Bass Jr., James C. Bass, Claibourne W. Bass, Robert W. Bass and Hugh M. Bass, Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Augustus M. Fulk III, Little Rock, a sister, Mrs. Mary Fultz, Camden, and a grandchild.
Funeral services wil be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Reubel Funeral Home Chapel by the Reverend Fred R. Harrison. Pallbearers will be Brooks Radley, C.A. Franke, Jerry Bowen, C.E. McCoy, Alfred Kahn Sr., George C. Whitemore, Dr. F. Watler Carruthers, Fred C. Worthington, Harrow Smith and Hugh Paist. Honorary pallbearers will be Conway Crossland, Ed Cromwell, Zack Wood, Gaines N. Houston, John G. Potts, W.R. Snodgradd, Dr. Alvin W. Strauss Jr., Claibourne W. Patty and J.T. Lloyd. Burial will be in Mount Holly cemetery.

Worthington, Harrow Smith and Hugh Faist; honorary, Conway Crossland, Ed Cromwell, Zach Wood, Gaines Houston, John G. Potts, W.R. Snodgrass, Dr. Alvin W. Strauss Jr., Claibourne W. Patty and J.T. Lloyd. Burial was in Mount Holly Cemetery by Reubel Funeral Home.
