He was a member of the General Baptist church. Survivors are: sons, Ira Charles and Raymond, Evansville, and John, Boonville; daughters, Mrs. Clophie Osborne, Mrs. Ida Osborne and Mrs. Lucille Brooks, Evansville; brothers, John W. bass, Evansville; foster-brother, Ossie Lawston, Dixon, Ky., and grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday noon at the Log Creek Baptist church near Lynnville. Rev. Elbert Taylor officiated.
