Harold Alton Bass Jr., 61, of Elm City, passed away on March 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Carolyn R. Bass of the home; father Harold Alton Bass Sr. of Wilson; daughter Angela Carol Bass of Wilson; brothers Stanley R. Bass (Debra) of Rocky Mount, Robert G. Bass of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Gregory Bass of Greenville; grandchildren, Hannah Tracy, Harold Bass IV, and Raven Bass. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda N. Bass and a son Harold Alton Bass III. He was a kind and loving husband, Daddy, and Grandaddy. He always saw the best in everyone. Family was always important to him.
