  Notes	KDGT - 24 Jul 1891, paged 3 column 3 Died at Ninety-Five "Tempie" Weaver, colored, of Ervin township, died Thursday near the Bassett post office, aged ninety-five years. She was born in North Carolina in 1796, and was the mother of twenty-one children. The funeral takes place at one o'clock Saturday. Though born and raised in the south she was never a slave. She came to Indiana long before the war, settling first in Grant county. Ten years ago she came to Howard county and for some time past has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Britton Bassett, her only child living of the twenty-one, as far as known. She was twice married, her second husband dying twelve years ago. She was the oldest inhabitant of the west end of the county, and as far as can be learned the oldest in the county. Rev. David Rush will preach the funeral sermon.
