  Notes	Sturgis Daiylo Journal Nora V. Bassett STURGIS – Nora V. Bassett, 87, 207 N. Fourth St. Feb 29, 1988, at Thurston Woods Village, where she had been a resident since Nov. 23, 1987. She had been ill four months. She was born Oct. 12, 1900, in DeKalb County, Ind., a daughter of Charlie and Laura Moore. On April 29, 1951, she married Glenn Bassett in Topeka, Ind. She was a Sturgis resident for 22 years, coming form Indiana. She was homemaker and a housekeeper. Surviving are her husband, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, Ind., with the Rev. Russell Tague, Concord Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
