Bass Services
CARROLLTON ? Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Sweeney Funeral Home for William C. Bass, 54, of Park av., owner and operator of Bass Meat Market. He died Monday in his home following a brief illness.
Rev. David McCalmont will officiate with burial in Westview Cemetery. Eagles will conduct memorial services tonight at 8 in the funeral home where friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Born at Bellaire, he was a World War II veteran and a member of the local Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Wallace of Bellaire. His wife, the former Betty Mettler, died in 1963.

William Bass
William C. Bass, 54, Park ave., Carrollton, owner and operator of the Bass Meat Market, died Monday morning in his home after a short illness.
Born March 3, 1913 in Bellaire, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Carrollton Eagles Lodge.
His wife, the former Betty Mettler, died in 1963. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Wallace of Bellaire.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. David McCalmont, Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sweeney Funeral Home in Carrollton and burial will be in West View cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Eagles Memorial services at 8 p.m.
