Evelyn Carol Bass, age 68, of Sparr, Florida passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at the Monroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida.
Evelyn had been a resident of Sparr for the past 13 years coming from Borderland, West Virginia. She was an active member of the Fort McCoy Church of God. She enjoyed flower gardening.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gary Stevenson II of Beverly Hills, Florida, two sons and daughter-in-law, the Reverend Rick Bass and his wife, Jennifer of Sparr and Jimmy Bass of Ocala; two brothers and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Linda McMaster of Williamson, West Virginia and Gary McMaster of Waycross, Georgia; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Fort McCoy Church of God. Interment will follow in the Anthony Cemetery at Anthony, Florida. Calling hours will be tonight (Sunday, January 11, 2009) from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Masters Funeral Home of Palatka, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
