Harry Bass
Harry A. Bass II, 72, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away July 11, 2014 in South Shore Nursing and Rehab in South Shore, Kentucky. He was born in Madison, West Virginia, September 27, 1941, a son of the late Harry A. Bass Sr. and Virginia Ruth Price Bass. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Globe Church of Christ and retired from the United Postal Service. Surviving are his wife Donna Craycraft Bass to whom he married October 29, 1964; two sons, Harry A. "Michelle" Buddy Bass III of South Shore, Kentucky, Michael Stanley "Melissa" Bass of South Portsmouth, Kentucky; one daughter, Sherry Johnson Bass of Greenup, Kentucky; one brother, Edward Ray Bass of Charleston, West Virginia; one sister, Sarahdena Bass Jamison of Portsmouth, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Megan Bass, Kristen "Dale" Johnson, Keileigh Johnson, Chase Bass, J.R. Johnson, Cameronn Bentley, Chelsi Potter and Derek Potter. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the South Shore Church of Christ, South Shore, Kentucky, with Brother Bernie Parsons and Brother Keith Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the South Shore Church of Christ from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Monday July 14, 2014 and from 11 a.m. till the funeral hour on Tuesday.
