Walter F. Bass
Walter F. Bass, 71, died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph?s Hospital.
Mr. Bass, a native of Covington, Ky., had lived most of his life in Fort Wayne. he was a retired foreman for the Virginia-Carolina Chemical Co.
Surviving are his wife, Helen M., two daughters, Edna V. Wiedenhoeft and Sally J. Houchin, both of Fort Wayne; one son, Walter A. of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Virginia Hershburger and Edna E. Burger, both of Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, with calling there from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 and 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
