Taylor and Lula Bass
Taylor John Bass and his wife, Lula (Bing) Bass, brought their family of two children, Leonard and Bernice, to Meigs County, neighborhood of Syracuse, Ohio, in early April of 1926.
Leonard was born April 26, 1919, and Bernice, July 21, 1921, in Fairview Community of Mason County, West Virginia. After their arrival in Meigs County, Ralph Taylor was born June 7, 1927, and Betty, November 7, 1931.
Leonard married Ora Martin and they have the following children: Joh, married Stella McNemar and lived in Dexter, two children; Lenora, married Jack Offenberger and lives in Little Hocking, two children; Barbara, married Philip Bearhs and lives in Syracuse,, one child; Cherri, married Ray Rinehart and lives in Lexington, Ohio, one child; David, lives at home in Syracuse.
Bernice married Everett Levacy and lives at Chester. They have two children; Willia, married Freda Howard and lives in Dexter. They have three children; Betty in unmarried and lived in Chester.
Ralph married Cledith Berry and died in 1978. She lived in Galia County, had three children; Brian, married Jenny Potts and lives in Syracuse, one child; David, unmarried and lives in Gallia County; Mary, married Terry Sealres and lives in Gallia County, one child.
The youngest of the family Betty lives at Syracuse, and married James Tyree. They have two children; Mae, married John Grueser, has two children, and the live at Syracuse; Kay, married Michael Ryan and lives at Racine R.D., two children. (Submitted by Taylor and Lula Bass)
