Born April 3, 1916, in Pomeroy, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Daisy Smith Ruschel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bass. She is survived by children. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Ewing Funeral Home, Pomeroy, with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be observed Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
