Surviving are three daughters, Carlyn Diederich and Gloria Glick, both of Auburn and Jeanne Bassett of Granger; a brother, Robert Smith of Auburn; four sisters, Joan Bowman of Auburn, Audrey Smith and Betty Douglas, both of Fort Wayne, and Barbara Deetz of Fremont; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
