Jerry Bass Jr. - of Davison, age 77, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at his residence. Jerry was born in Eskdale, West Virginia, on March 25, 1929, son of the late Maggie (Austin) and Jerry Bass, Sr. He married Georganna McPhail on February 7, 1948. Jerry worked at Coal Mines of West Virginia for 15 years and at C & O Railroad for three years. He retired from General Motors in 1993. Jerry is survived by wife, Georgie; children, Geraldine (Bob) Sansam and James Bass; grandchildren, Susan (Doug) Ford and Robyn Sansam; great-grandchild, Kyla Ford; brothers, John, Dennis and Jack; mother-in-law, Agnes McPhail; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Isabella (Dennis) Grant, Agnes Smalley, Jane (Paul) Hatfield, Peggy (Earl) Smith, Ilene Bass, Burt Seal and Ruth Bass and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Norman and Kermit and sister, Laura Seal.
