On Sept. 28, 1957, in Pinckneyville, he married Patricia Louise Boismenue. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hillsboro. Survivors include his mother; wife; daughter, Debra Lynn Bass at home; a son, Benton H. of Columbus, Miss., a brother, Ted of Pinckneyville; sisters, Phyllis Jane Leininger of Tuscaloosa and Patsy jean Shute of Pinckneyville. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Ross Funeral Home in Litchfield.
