SEALE, AL ? Langston Trent Bassett IV, affectionately known at ?Peter Rabbit?, age 40, of 12 Harris Road, Seale, AL, passed away May 12, 2009 in Phenix City. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, May 18, 2009 from 1-8 p.m., according to Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Bassett was born February 2, 1969 in Riverside County, CA to Shirley Ann Passmore of Columbus, GA and Langston Trent Bassett III of Redland, CA. He was employed as a Line Processor at Kodak Eastman. He served two years in the military with an honorable discharge as en E2. Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jill King Bassett of Seale, AL; son, Langston Trent Bassett V of Seale, AL; four daughters, Jaquabia Bassett, Bionca King and Tykeria Bassett, all of Seale, AL and Marnica Davis of Columbus, GA; three brothers, Chris (Lakeshia) Passmore of Columbus, GA, Shanton (Gina) Passmore of Ft. Hood, TX and Tarik Bassett of Highland, CA; three sisters, Shanell (Adrian) Rodgers and Roxanne (Carlos) Bassett, both of Redland, CA and Nyisha Bassett of Highland, CA; grandfather, Abe Passmore, Jr. of Phenix City, AL; aunt, Carolyn (Larry) Passmore of Phenix, City, AL; mother-in-law, Dorothy King of Seale, AL; three uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
