She had belonged to Ohio Bell Pioneers, and was a member of the Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, several sisters and brothers, and husband, Charles E., she is survived by her son, Thomas J. Wheeler; grandson, Douglas; two stepdaughters; two stepsons; several step-grandchildren; brother, Robert Bass of Akron; sisters, Mildred Brown of Akron, Vera Bass of New Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Friday, 2 p.m., at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Reverend Cinda Faulkrod officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
