Inc., died Saturday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Clearview Baptist Church. Burial, directed by McAllister?s Downtown Chapel, will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Boan was born March 3, 1931, in Ashville, N.C., a daughter of Mark Bass and Nell Bartlett Bass. She was a graduate of Swannanoa High School in Swannanoa, N.C. and was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Surviving are her mother o Swannanoa; her husband, James Edward Boan; three daughters, Cyndi B. Robbins of Summerville, Sharon B. Poole of James Island and Kerry Boan of New York City; a brother, Sidney Bass of Swannanoa; and six grandchildren.
