Sandra Wilson Bass
Sandra Wilson Bass, 72, passed away at Wayne UNC Health Care on Monday, August 21, 2023. Born in Johnston County on October 7, 1950, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Johnny Mack Bass.
For many years, Sandra worked at Cooper Standard in Goldsboro. She later spent time working at Walmart. When not at work, Sandra could be found at her happy place, the mountains. She enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren. Her love for them knew no bounds and each moment spent with them all was a treasured memory.
A service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A private internment will be held for the family at Eureka Cemetery.
Sandra is survived by her children, Wendy Noll and husband, Greg, Cassandra Bass, Johnny Ray Bass, and Frankie Bass; grandchildren, Nicole Bass Walker, Chris Bass, Brianna Bass, Ashleigh Cooper, Tanyon Noll, and Shelby Noll; sisters, Janice McCullen, Lynn Johnson, Betty Peele; and brothers, Donnie Wilson and Larry Wilson. Sandra is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that she loved dearly.
