Curtis C. Bass, 49, of Sarasota, FL, died on May 21, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Sat., Jun. 7, 2014 at Sarasota Farm Bureau Pavilion in Sarasota, FL. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Sat., June 14, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Osprey in Osprey, FL. Funeral arrangements by National Cremation & Burial Society.
Born at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, residing in Nokomis, and graduating from Venice High Schhol in 1983; Curtis Christopher Bass was a true Florida Native. Growving up he enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanics, and racing stock cars/trucks. Through 4H he found his true passion: helping children, developing an extended family he?d forever impact. Although we now only have the memoris of his bear hugs and prefect smile, his legacy will forever live on. He is survived by his father, Manuel Bass; daughter, Erica C. Bass; son, Nicholas (Rebecca) Bass; daughter Kristan Potts; grandchildren, Kylie Reselynn, Nicholas Lawrence, Wesley Paul and Wyatt Christopher; and siblings, Larry & Paul Bass, and Cherie Dennis; nephew?s Jeff Bass and Paul Bass II and niece, Ashley Greene.
