Marriage
The marriage of Miss Marilyn Bass of Blytheville, daughter of Mrs. Alma Bass and James A. Bass, and Jerry Holly of Cooter, Mo.; was solemnized Sunday afternoon, September 2, at Cooter. Members of the families and a few intimate friends heard the ring service which was performed at the home of the bridegroom?s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Holly. The bride wore an autumn ensemble of black and white faille and carried pink roses and sweet peas. Her maid of honor, Miss Josephine Holly, sister of the bridegroom, wore brown flat crepe trimmed in white. Vinton Bass served as best man. The bridegroom is connected with the Planter?s gin at Cooter where he and Mrs. Holly will reside.
