Mary Loretta Bass

Newport - Mary L. (Fleissner) Bass, 79, of Newport, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana, Kentucky. She was a retired maintenance worker with McDonald's in Newport. She was a member of Holy Spirit Altar Society, Hilltoppers, St. Vincent and Travelers Club. Mary loved the Cincinnati Reds. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Frank) Fleissner. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Bass, Sr., son, Gilbert Bass, Jr., brothers, Ed, Paul and Stan Fleissner; sister-in-law, Bert Fleissner and brother-in-law, Gene Neises. She is survived by sisters, Joyce Neises and Carol (John) Roberts; brother, Donald (Gwen) Fleissner; sisters-in-laws, Barb and Rita Fleissner; many nieces, nephews and their families. Memorial visitation 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11 at St. Joseph Church, 4011 Alexandria Pk., Cold Spring, Kentucky with the memorial Mass following at 10:00 a.m. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
