Mr. Milton Leroy ?Lee? Bass
Mr. Milton Leroy ?Lee? Bass, 66, of Norwich Drive, Wilmington, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993.
Mr. Bass was born September 23, 1926, at Eureka, N.C., the son of the late Roscoe and Jonnie McKeel Bass. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea, serving in the Air Force and Army. He had retired from the E.I. Du Pont Company in 1992.
Survivors include one brother, Roscoe Bass Jr. and wife, June, of Penderlea, N.C.; one sister, Rachel B. Cooke of Black Creek, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Bass of Wilmington; and five nephews; three nieces; and fourteen great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, June 11, 1993, at 11 a.m. in the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel by the Reverend Allen McKeithan. The interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Lee Cooke, Robert Cooke, Johnny Cooke, Bennie Bass Jr., Milton Cooke, Mike Bass and Bobby Cook.
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Evelyn Bass, 6221 Mallard Drive, Wilmington.
