  Notes	News and Observer Raleigh, North Carolina Monday, November 15, 1954 Mrs. Roscoe Bass Fremont - Mrs. Roscoe Bass, 57, of Route 2, Lucama, died Sunday afternoon at Woodard-Herring Hospital in Wilson following a stroke. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Bob Cooke of Wilson; three sons, Bennie and Roscoe Jr., of Grifton and Milton of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Edmundson and Miss Rachel McKeel, both of Route 1, Pikeville, Mrs. George Gardner of Route 2, Goldsboro, Mrs. Mattie Pender of Route 1, Fremont, and Mrs. Mary Rowe of Eureka; three brothers, William L. of Norfolk, Jodie of Pikeville and Wade McKeel of Route 1, Pikeville. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. from the Baptist Church in Eureka with the Reverend Mr. Hales, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Reverend Harry Beale. The body will be taken to the church an hour before the funeral and burial will be in Eureka Cemetery.
