  Notes	Wilson Memorial Service Dorothy B. Bass February 24, 1918 ? March 17, 2015 LUCAMA - Dorothy Barnes Bass, 97, passed away peacefully at Harnett Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunn on March 17, 2015. A celebration of her life will be held at Wilson Memorial Service, Friday, March 20 at 2 PM. Visitation will follow the service. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Dorothy was born February 24, 1918 to the late Clenon C. and Daisy H. Barnes of Lucama. She and her husband Roy farmed and were active supporters of the Crossroads Township and were always eager to reach out to a friend in need. Her beloved church family at Little Rock Free Will Baptist was a center point of her life in Wilson County. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Paul and Amos and sisters, Vetris and Eunice. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Harris (son-in-law, Jerry) of Swan Quarter and Gail Viverette (partner, Raymond Starling) of Wilson and son, Terry Bass (daughter-in-law, Sandra) of Fuquay-Varina and brother, Clifton Barnes (wife, Ramona) of Rocky Mount. She leaves many loving memories for her grandchildren Dawn Snyder of Suwanee, GA, Sabra Hassler of Fort Smith, AR, Eric Nicotra of Sweden, Joshua Viverette of Raleigh, Kayla, Jenna & Aaron Bass of Fuquay-Varina and great-grandchildren Conor, Alex and Megan Snyder of Suwanee, GA and Raymond's daughters, Ericca Starling and Heather Raper; brother, Clifton Barnes (Ramona) of Rocky Mount. Her many nieces, nephews, cousins and "adopted children" were always close to her heart and kept her occupied with their memories. The family wishes to thank the staff of Harnett Woods for the loving care they gave Mother this past year. God truly had angels at work at Harnett Woods. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 340, Lucama, NC 27851.
