Funeral Of Mr. Bass
Interment to Be In Oakdale cemetery With Masonic Honors
The funeral services of mr. Elias Bass, age 88, beloved Confederate vertan, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lou Mills, No. 504 Dock street, will be held this afternoon at 3:30 o?clock from the residence by Rev. M.T. Plyler, pastor of the Grace Methodist chruch, and Rev. Dr. A.D. McClure, pastor of St. Andrew?s Presbyterian church. The interment will be made in Oakdale cemetery with Masonic honors and with the Veterans attending.
The following have been select as pallbearers: Messrs. W.D. Craig, W.J. Davis, George Boyland, J.M. Taylor, W.B. mcKoy and W. F. Nurnberger.
