  Notes	The Neshoba Democrat January 19, 2011 Louise Bassett Services for Louise Bassett were held Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Tommy Miles officiating. Burial followed in Beech Springs Cemetery near Union with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bassett, 82, died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Union. She was a native of Caldwell Parish, Louisiana and had been a longtime resident of the Neville community of Neshoba County. She was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Bassett was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Bassett and sons, Huey Lee Bassett and Larry Glen Bassett. Survivors include daughters; Glendia Young, Mary Baysinger, Edna Thomas, Betty Crain and Freida Bassett; sons, Wayne Bassett, Alford (Sal) Bassett and Chris Bassett; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
