Mr. Bass, a resident of Danville, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laurie Dansey Bass; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur E. Hall; and adopted son, Robert Plumb; one grandchild; three brothers, R. Truehart, D. Edward and Jake M. Bass, all of Richmond, and three sisters, Mrs. J.H. Lester, of Richmond, and Mrs. G. B Williams and Mrs. Stelle B. Harrison, of Miami, Florida.
