Carol Bass Painter
Carol Dana Bass Painter, 62, of 310 Reade Dr., Roxboro, died Friday, March 10, 2023. Born in Person County, Mrs. Painter was the daughter of the late James Alexander and Anne Moore Bass. Mrs. Painter was a tax assessor for Wake County and a member of Roxboro Baptist Church.
Mrs. Painter is survived by two sons, Wesley Woodfin and Rachelle McFetridge, of Raleigh and y "Kip" Painter, of Roxboro; one brother, James Alexander Bass III and wife Misti of Chapel Hill; one grandchild, Anne Marie McFetridge and one step-grandchild, Ryan McFetridge; three nephews, Brandon Bass, Nathan Bass and Evan Pickard; one niece, Autumn Bass.
Memorial services will be held 2PM Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Brooks & White Chapel by the Dr. DuPre Sanders. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Saturday at the Brooks & White Chapel prior to the service.
