ROY E. BASSETT FAMILY
Roy Eugene Bassett, son of Eugene and Jarushia Bassett, was born on October 23, 1924, in Morristown, Tennessee. When he was six months old the family moved to Coatesville, Indiana, and he completed twelve years of school at Fillmore. He has one sister, Lola Mae Wells, who now lives in Chrisman, Illinois.
Roy Bassett married Beulah Jane Wingler, daughter of Jesse and Leona Wingler, on June 2, 1946. (See Jesse Wingler biography).
Beulah Wingler was born on February 13, 1928, and has lived in the Clayton area most of her life, completing 12 years of school at Amo. She was the sixth of eight children of Jesse and Leona Wingler.
Wayne Wingler now lives in Des Moines, Iowa; Wendell and Harry Wingler in Indianapolis; Freeman in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Morris and Jesse Jr. in Coatesville, and Mary Jo Ann Noble in Avon....
