Bass, a well known farmer of this county, died last Friday evening at his home neaer Cuningham at 6:30 o?clock of heart failure. He was 77 years of age. Mr. Bass had not complained at any time of late and was in comparatively good health and his sudden death came as a great shock to his family and friends. Mr. Bass leaves to mounr his deatha wife and ten children, Mrs. R. B. Bass, Mesdames Wade, of Danville, Va., Wilkins of Virgilina, Swan of Semora, H.S. Morton, or Roxboro, Armstrong, of Gastonia and Miss Louis of Cuningham, and Messrs. Joe Bass of Ohio, Palmer, of West Virginia, and Alex. of Cuningham. Mr. Bass was one of person County?s largest farmers, owning a large farm consisting of over a thousand acres. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in the death of their beloved one.
