PAWNEE - Martha Lucille Jeans was born Nov. 29, 1943, in Pawnee to William Tohee and Dorcas Bassett Tohee. She passed from this life on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2007, in Red Rock having reached the age of 63 years, 11 months, and 6 days.
She has been married for 24 years to Otto "Rick" Pratt. She has been a lifelong resident of Red Rock and was affiliated with the Otoe Baptist Church and the Native American Church.
She worked for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe for 17 years and enjoyed senior citizens trips, and loved reading, movies, and enjoyed going to the casinos.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Otto "Rick" Pratt of Red Rock; father of the daughters and deceased son, Lewis Jeans of Stillwater; four daughters, Felicia Tohee, Paula Lea Butler, Dorcas "Lynn" Jeans and APril Willeen Tiger, all of Red Rock; grandchildren, Nicole Thoee, Tashina Jeans, Johnathan Deere, Dillon Jeans, Jordan Deere, Tracy Tohee, Bubba Jeans, Olene Others, Heather Rhodd, Shi-an Butler, Wynsotn Tiger and Neetha Butler; two sisters, Norma Jean Tohee and Billien Ann Tohee; two brothers, Bill "Bugz" Tohee and Kenneth "Buster" Tohee; plus a number of other relatives and many friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her father, William Tohee; mother, Dorcas Bassett Tohee; son, John David Jeans; two sisters, Betty Tohee and Theresa Tohee; two brothers, Leon Tohee and Vernon Tohee, and one grandson, Moses T. Scott.
Services will be held at noon, Thursday, Nov.8, at Otoe-Missouri Cultural Center with the Rev .Jimmy Kenner officiating. Interment will be at Cleghorn Cemetery in Red Rock under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home of Pawnee.
