  Notes	Providence Journal, Rhode Island, Wednesday, September 28, 1994 Alton M. Bassett ALTON M. BASSETT, 86, of Johnson Road, a former lace manufacturer, a farmer and owner of the Jinny-B Campground, died Monday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Sylvia L. (Taskinen) Bassett. Born in Foster, he was a son of the late Charles and Suzie (Wilbur) Bassett. Mr. Bassett was a member of the Moosup Valley Grange P. of H., and the Ionic Lodge F&AM. He was a founder of the Moosup Valley Fire Company. He leaves two daughters, Virginia L. Bassett and Sonja E. Murray, both of Foster, and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Rice City Church, Vaughn Hollow Road, Coventry.
