Bass - Sellars
Mr. and Mrs. James B. Sellars of Clarendon announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Bee Sellars, to Mr. Joseph Edward Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bass of Washington, Sunday, September 5, at 4 o?clock at the Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church, Washington, with the Rev. Edward G. Latch officiating. Only the immediate members of the family and a few close friends were present.
The bride, who was unattended, wore a navy blue ensemble with corresponding hat and accessories and a corsage of pink roses and lilies of the valley.
Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Bass left for a short wedding trip and they are now at home in Georgetown. Mrs. Bass was a former past honor queen of Clarendon Bethel No. 1, Jobs Daughters.
