Joseph Glen Bass
DORSEY ? Joseph Glen ?Pa Joe? Bass, 70, formerly of Chicago, retired AT&T security guard, was pronounced dead of heart disease Tuesday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services were Wednesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home in Verona with burial in Andrew?s Cemetery in the Richmond community. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4976 in Fulton and River Hill Baptist Church in Peppertown. Mr. Bass, the husband of Gussie Hardy Bass for 49 years, also leaves to sisters, Winnie Estes and Thelma Young, both of Plantersville; four brothers, Thomas Bass and Lower Bass, both of Tupelo, and Goulas Bass and Richard Bass, both of Biloxi, and tow grandchildren. The family requests that any memorial be sent to American Heart Association, Lee County Affiliate in Tupelo.
