Mrs. Noah Bass Succumbs At Residence In Goldsboro

Goldsboro - March 28 - Mrs. Bessie Bass died at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at her home on William Street after a week’s illness of pneumonia following influenza.
Mrs. Bass was 37 years old and was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Policeman Noah Bass and three small children, Elizabeth, Kathleen and Noah.
Funeral was held from the home at 3:30 Thursday afternoon by Reverend W.F. Mumms, pastor of St. John Methodist Church. Burial was in the Bass Cemetery near Lucama.
