  Notes	Houston Chronicle June 11, 2010 Leasa Bassett Leasa Bassett, age 40, passed away on June 8, 2010, at her home in Houston. She was born on November 25, 1969 to Bill and Hazel Bassett. Leasa was raised in Dripping Springs where she graduated from high school in 1988. She then worked her way through college to graduate from Texas A&M Galveston in 2006. She liked to be known as a "Sea Aggie". She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruby (Heinemeyer) and Frank Gandre, Gertrude (Keeling) and Charles Colgin, Charline and Carter Bassett. Leasa is survived by her parents, Hazel (Gandre) and William C. Bassett of Dripping Springs, two sisters, Bren Bassett-Pechacek of Houston, Romi Bassett of San Marcos, and nephew Joseph Bassett-Pechack. Memorial Services: Saturday, June 12 at 2:00 in Katy at the Living Way Church, 3506 Porter Road, with Kenneth Hensarling officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Breast Cancer Research Center (BCRC.ORG) to Leasa's Stage 4 Support Group.
