Ruth Bass Wells
WILSON -- Ruth Bass Wells, 84, died Monday March 3, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Elisha Anderson Bass and Fannie Louise Bass.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Wells; brothers, Selby Bass and Charlie Bass.
She is survived by sisters, Cora Alice Bass Lamm Johnson of Wilson, Glenda Sparrow (David) of Pittsboro, Brenda Evans (Butch) of Garner; sisters-in-law, Hannah Bass of Black Creek, Lois Bass of Lucama; one brother, Carlton Bass (Marie) of Black Creek; many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home.
Graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at with the Elder Rudy Jones officiating.
