Thelma Carroll Bass, 73
Zebulon - Thelma Carroll Bass, 73, of 2012 Zebulon Road, died Wednesday morning at her home. She was the widow of Hubert Burden Bass. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 31, 1999 at Wakefield Central Baptist Church, Zebulon, North Carolina with Reverend Keith Wagner and Reverend Steve Via officiating. Burial in the Bass Family Cemetery off Hwy 117 at Black Creek. Survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joe B. and Kathy H. Bass of Rocky Mount, Donald R. and Connie M. Bass of Zebulon, William R. and Judy B. Bass of Wilmington; grandchildren, Tammy Bass, Tonya Flack, Brian Bass, Christy Fowler and Christopher Bass; great-grandson, Hunter Flower; sisters, Ruby Bullard of St. Pauls, Agnes Pierce and Estelle Britt, both of Wilson. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Strickland Funeral Home, 211 West Third Street, Wendell, other times at the home.
