Mr. Bass died Saturday, May 21, 2011. Born in Darlington Co., SC, he was a son of the late Henry Lee and Alma Galloway Bass. He was a farmer in Darlington County for many years and was a lifelong member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Lydia. He served in the U. S. Navy in World War II. Surviving are his wife, Eloise Kelley Bass of Hartsville, SC; son, Harry (Diane) Bass of Lydia, SC; daughter, Debbie (Johnny) Andrews of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Joy Bass (Jonathan) Jones, Jennifer Bass, Kelley Bass, Thomas (Sarah) Andrews, Sarah Andrews; great-grandchildren, Emilee Grace Jones, Caroline Jones, Lilly Andrews.
