Rachael Coleman Bass
SCOTLAND NECK ? Rachael Coleman Bass, 30, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
Rachael was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She was a lifelong resident of Halifax County and worked as a clerk in the Halifax County Register of Deeds office.
Rachael was preceded in death by her father, Irving Alexander Coleman III.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Bass Jr.; her children, Clay Bass of Scotland Neck, Stacie Lee Bass of Roanoke Rapids, Ally Pearce of Texas, Savannah Bass of Aiken, S.C., and Nick Bass of Cloquet, Minn.; her mother, Celeste Jenkins of Arkansas; her stepfather, Billy Cooke of Scotland Neck; her brother, Justin Coleman of Scotland Neck; and one grandson, Carter Gillman.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26 at the Baptist Cemetery in Scotland Neck, with the Rev. Dr. James Drake presiding.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
