  Notes	State Columbia, South Carolina Saturday, August 10, 1968 N.B. Bass Ridgeland - N. Burton Bass, 72, of Switzerland, died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Charleston. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ridgeland Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Granhanville Cemetary. He was born in Lane and was superintendent of the Okeetee Club for 39 years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Savannah. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Bass; a son, Robert L. Bass of Switzerland; two sisters, Mr. G.C. Parsons of Andrews and Mrs. James K. Deaver of Cope; and three grandchildren.
