Miss Sue Lambeth and Fiance Will Be Entertained At Dinner
Miss Sue Lambeth and Donald George Bsasett of Shawinigan Falls, Quebec, Canada, who will be married at 5 p.m. Saturdy in Centenary Methodist Church, will be honored at 7 p.m. dinner tomorrow at the Lotus Restaurant. The bridegroom arrived Monday.
The hostess is Nancy Jane Lambeth, 13, who will be a junior bridemaid for her cousin. Included with the honor couple are the bride?s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence S. Lambeth, and the hostess' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis B. Lambeth. The bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Bassett of Shawinigan Falls, and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Bassett Jr. of Montreal, Canada, are expected Friday.

Lambeth-Bassett Wedding Planned In Church Today
The wedding of Miss Carolyn Sue Lambeth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence S. Lambeth of Liberty Road, and Donald George Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis G. Bassett of Shawingigan Falls, Quebec, Canada, will take place at 5 p.m. today in Centenary Methodist Church. The service will be performed by the bride?s uncle, Rev. A.C. Gibbs of Connolly Springs, and Rev. Russell Young, pastor of the church. After the ceremony a reception will be given by the bride?s parents in the church social room.
The bride will be given in marriage by her father. She will be attended by Mrs. Archibald Taylor Fort, matron of honor, and Miss Phyllis Ragan, Mrs. Ernest R. Gunn and Mrs. Richard Herbin, bridesmaids. The bride?s cousin, Nancy Jane Lambeth, will be junior bridesmaid.
The bridegroom?s brother, Willis George Bassett Jr. of Montreal, Canada, will serve as best man and the ushers will include the bride?s brother, Larry L. Lambeth of Salisbury, Md., John W. Lambeth of Raleigh, Ernest R. Gunn of Brown Summit and John Werble. Music will be furnished by Mrs. Garland Robeson, organist, and Edward B. Smith, tenor.
The bride will wear a white Chantilly lace over satin dress fashioned with a fitted bodice and a sweetheart neckline trimmed with sequined medallions. The skirt extends into a circular train. Her veil of illusion will be mounted on a half-hat of Chantilly lace outlined with seed pearls and she will carry a white orchid showered with stephanotis on a white prayer book.
The attendants will wear street length dresses of yellow nylon organdy over yellow taffeta embroidered in white and matching yellow picture hats. They will carry arrangements of yellow carnations and blue delphinium tied with yellow satin ribbon. The bride?s mother will wear a street length dress of light blue lace over taffeta with matching accessories and the bridegroom?s mother will wear a blue nylon dress.
Following a trip to Ocean City, Md., the couple will make their home in Raleigh. The bride, who completed the one year commercial course at Woman?s College, has been employed until recently in the mortgage loan department of Pilot Life Insurance Co. as a secretary. The bridegroom, who was discharged in June from the Air Force, will attend State College.
