Virginia (Bass) Bane
Virginia Bane, 71, of Hattieville, Arkansas was born to the late Johnny and Plumer (Brown) Bass on January 3, 1945 in Shirley, Arkansas and passed from this life December 25, 2016 at her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin Bane, four sisters; Irene Allen, Wanda Settlemire, Loretta Troutman and Dorothy Lankford, three step daughters Annie, Mary Rose, Liz and one brother, Melvin J. Bass.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Joe Bane (Latisha) of Hattieville, Arkansas, and David Bane (Kendra) of Conway, Arkansas, two daughters, Connie Curtis (Lewis) of Wooster, Arkansas, and Scarlet Bane, one brother, Ester Bass (Barbara) of Clinton, Arkansas, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Shirley, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the Shady Grove Baptist Church with interment following at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
