Charlie Junior Bass, 23, who was killed in an Air Force plane crash in Greenland Aug. 28, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Siloam Baptist Church by the Rev. H.L. Bridges. Burial will be in the Bass family cemetery. Bass attended Person County schools and had served in the Air Force for 5 ½ years. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Bass of Rougemont; four sisters, Miss Mary Bass of Durham, Mrs. Annie Jones of Rougemont and Miss Flora Anna Bass and Miss Phyllis Bass, both of the home; and four brothers, Alfonzo Bass of New York City, Americus Bass of Greensboro, Baster Bass of Philadelphia, Pa., and Theodore Bass of the home.
